GMonitor is a straightforward Field Monitor application designed for WiFi-enabled Lumix cameras such as the Lumix G6, G7, 81, 85, GX8, GX80/85, GH4/5. To use it, simply activate WiFi on your camera and establish a connection with the app. Once connected, you can view the live feed in fullscreen on your iPhone or iPad.
For GH3 users, please note that some models may not support live view during recording, based on reports from certain users. This issue appears to be a bug specific to certain GH3 models and might not affect all devices.
Users can select from various display modes, including anamorphic desqueeze, and have the option to show 1:2.35 crop marks. Additionally, if Peaking or Zebra features are enabled on the camera, they can also be viewed on your iPhone or iPad.
As Lumix cameras only transmit a resolution of 640x480 over WiFi connections, the image will be scaled on your device accordingly.
